BOOK REVIEW: Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

This is probably my all-time second favorite Colleen Hoover book (nothing will beat Verity). I absolutely loved how Miles was Tate's brother's best friend, it made things so much more enjoyable. Miles's character is so hard not to fall in love with. I mean, he's a PILOT for Pete's sake.

My favorite thing about Colleen's books is that she brings in a different point of view to tell a story. It fascinates me how this specific story was told in the present with parts of the past also being told. The story of Mile and Rachel was so crucial to the rest of the book and it was incredibly heartbreaking. I felt like I was a part of their relationship. I was INVESTED.

This book was such an easy read and made me want to marry a pilot just so he will take me on cool spontaneous trips to see the sunset. I also appreciate that before Mile's started a relationship with Tate, he patched things up with Rachel. I was so proud of his character for that :')

Overall, I would 10000% read this book again. The title was right. Their love was ugly, messy, broken, but boy does it make a good story.

Rating: 4.5/5
